This Teaching Assistant/Academic Mentor position is open to a Maths graduate who would eventually like to train as a Teacher.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational Maths graduate who has earned at least a 2:2 in your degree and has the confidence to forge relationships quickly. The school wants to recruit a maths graduate who has a bright, upbeat temperament which will help them stay positive in everything they do. As a Teaching Assistant you will have a motivational attitude and expect the best from your pupils, inspiring them to achieve.
In this Maths Teaching Assistant position you will be supporting teaching across the curriculum in KS3 & KS4. This role offers the chance to lead 1:1 sessions and booster groups to underachieving and the gifted and talented pupils. You will also be mentoring GCSE maths students. If potential is shown, the school has the capabilities to offer a placement on their School Direct intake for 2017.
