Page Personnel have been prospected on behalf of a well established, growing business to recruit for a Payroll Implementation & Training Consultant (Operational Readiness Consultant) to help expand their business in the West Midlands.

Client Details

My client is a well-established national organisation in search of Payroll Implementation & Training Consultant (Operational Readiness Consultant) to help expand their UK base.

Description

The ideal Payroll Implementation & Training Consultant (Operational Readiness Consultant) will have the following responsibilities:

  • Train client staff on Payroll Professional and associated modules
  • Design implementation plan, project manage and execute new implementations of Payroll Professional
  • Produce product training material for tutor led and self-learn approaches
  • Provide pre-sales consultancy with Sales Consultants as and when required
  • Provide high level consulting, best practice advice and guidance on implementation and uses of Star Payroll
  • Channel post implementation support to appropriate colleagues
  • Carry out chargeable work to achieve company targets to include timely submission of accurate weekly time sheets
  • Mentor trainee consultants
  • Assist in design, preparation and delivery of Payroll Workshops
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time

Profile

The ideal Payroll Implementation & Training Consultant (Operational Readiness Consultant) will have the following attributes:

  • Payroll exposure, preferably in a payroll supervisor/management role
  • Exposureelivering one-to-one & classroom based training
  • A practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office as well as one or more computerised payroll programs
  • Knowledge of different types or UK Payrolls; Expat, Pay Spines etc.
  • CIPP membership (preferred)
  • Self-Starter - shows initiative
  • Confident with ability to express themselves clearly
  • Presentable appearance
  • Client facing skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Calm, unruffled manner
  • Ability to travel between Birmingham & Manchester
