PERM - PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK- BIRMINGHAM - 20 - 23Kpa + BENEFITS

Our client requires a proficient Purchase ledger Clerk for a perm contract. Based in Birmingham our client offers excellent holiday entitlement/benfits and a early finish on Fridays main responsibilities will include:

  • Print and manage incoming invoices from suppliers and other departments/employees

  • Enter invoices onto NAV and match any inventory receipts to Advice Notes and prices in the process

  • Update the internal purchasing cards accordingly

  • Produce credit memo's when required; including rejects

  • File all purchase ledger records accordingly

  • Produce the BACS run output file for authorisation and process

  • Enter new Vendors onto NAV and ensure that bank details are correctly stored and updated.

  • Keeping records of import details

  • Liaising with suppliers and other departments to resolve order/invoice queries

  • Purchase Ledger month end; balance, save, print and file the Invoice, Credit note and Cash Audit Trails

  • Balance, save, print and file the Aged Payables (summary & detailed)

  • Use the control spreadsheet to maintain these balances every month.

  • Reconciling supplier statements

Reconcile employee credit card statements onto Excel and post onto NAV after approval checks.
