Site Manager - New Build Care Home
Your new company
My client are a main contractor with a national presence. The company have established a strong pipeline of work in the West Midlands in various sectors which include; Commercial & Industrial New build, Residential (care homes) and Retail.
Last year their annual turn over has surpassed £180m.
Your new role
Reporting into their West Midlands office and to the Construction Manager, there is a New Build of a care home starting within the next 4 weeks for which they require a Site Manager for.
The care home is forecast to run for 120 weeks and is valued at £8m.
The Site manager will over see operational aspects of the build, manage trades operatives and be responsible for health and safety, whilst controlling budget and timescale of the build.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a similar role for a principal contractor, managing similar projects (multiple occupancy, apartments, care homes or hotels). Project valued at £5m and over.
It is essential that the candidate has an SMSTS card (in date).
It is highly desirable the candidate has a degree in construction management, or a similar qualification (HNC / HND).
