SENCO/SEND Key worker - Must have SENCO experience.

Tradewind are currently working alongside Birmingham council who are aiming to deliver the highest standard staff to children in education.

We are looking for a qualified SENCO who is looking for a role 4 days a week to start in September 2017.

This role will be working alongside other co-workers with SEND experience who are travelling to a number of schools in the South Birmingham area. This will be working with small groups of children with additional needs in Primary & Secondary schools. The role will include having to write IEP's and liaising with school SENCOS on a daily basis as well as the council and outside agencies.

You must already have experience of working with children and families within an education setting, with a particular emphasis on specialist needs in children.

You will be working as part of the SEND intervention team, working with a caseload of young people, who are from a range of backgrounds and have a variety of needs. You will already have experience in a similar role and be adaptable when working with families to encourage children and utilise your skills with SEND.

The role is a temporary role, but there is the possibility of it becoming a long term contract.
