Working for an extremely well known and nationally recognised non departmental public body based from Birmingham. The organisation are looking for 2 Facilities Officers to assist with the day to day FM process of managing the Birmingham office. The business are keen on their staff career progression and promoting from within.
Your new role
Acting as number 2 for the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the operational running of the office on a day to day basis, striving to improve services through strong internal and external stakeholder management. You will ensure the Facilities service is integrated with the business and manage space within offices, including desk plans and adjustments. You will also act as the main point of contact for Facilities and ensure Facilities is consulted at the early stages of any internal office changes. You will assist with management of operational functions of consumables, meetings and catering; while carrying out risk assessments & building inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of dealing with day-to-day building management, experience of working in a multi-site organisation and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Proven ability to use initiative and work autonomously, you will have demonstrated experience of proactively identifying and implementing improvements.
