Our client is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team based on a part time basis working 28 hours per week (Monday - Thursday) on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective administrative and support service to the Policy and Communications team.

Within this role you will assist the Governance and Compliance Manager in the production and circulation of board and committee papers (electronic and hardcopy); maintain Board Member lists, notifying changes to the Governance and Compliance Manager and Group Executive Team (GET) / Group Management Team (GMT) and ensure that all minute files are kept up to date with signed copies of the most recent sets of board and committee minutes. You will also be expected to assist the Data Protection Assistant in ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, administer the Group Declarations of Interest process and Staff Hospitality Register and maintain, index and update documents, arranging for documents to be archived / retrieved from off-site archives where necessary.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will ideally have experience of organising board meetings, including sending out agendas / papers. You will have experience of influencing and negotiating in order to achieve successful outcomes. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly the ability to format / re-format reports and other documents. You will be self-motivated and assertive, accurate and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
