Are you an experienced Administrator seeking a new challenge? Would you like to forge a career within Finance and Accounts but don’t have any experience? This may be the role for you! We are currently recruiting for a family run business established in the Midlands back in 1951.

The company are seeking a candidate to join their growing friendly accounts department based in central Kenilworth. This will be a full time permanent position working 8.30am till 5pm with a salary between £16,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.

You do not need previous accounts experience to be considered however we are ideally looking for previous office administration along with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will be fully trained on all aspects of an Accounts Assistant and Credit Control position however your role will initially be more administration based whilst you learn the processes and systems.

Main duties:

Handling with the daily payments

Allocating payments from remittance advices on a Daily basis.

Handling queries via phone/email

Chasing aged debt invoices & overdue balances

Chase customers for payment

Taking phone calls and handling emails from customers

Responsible for Key accounts on Blue Chip companies such as BT, Coca Cola.

Produce monthly / weekly data reporting and consolidated invoices

Run credit checks on new accounts / increase credit limits

Monitor Credit Limits

Person Specification:

Previous office administration experience

Basic knowledge of Excel would be beneficial
