We are recruiting for a Buyer on behalf of our clients based in Coventry. This is a temporary role.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Buyer

  • Identify and deliver cost savings
  • Process, analyse and report on all aspects of those goods and services
  • E-sourcing (preferably with Ariba systems experience for sourcing and contracts)
  • To manage the relationships with suppliers, internal and external customers
  • Achieve best prices and best value to support individual and group targets
  • Contract management

Details of a purchasing Administrator

  • Location: Coventry
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours
  • Pay- £15.00-£19.00 per Hour
  • Temporary on going

Skills and Experience of a Buyer

  • People management - demonstrating commitment to working and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Significant auctions experience with a good understanding of auction theory
  • Action orientated - Able to deal with problems in appropriate time frames
  • Driven by results - Decisive, confident addressing problems and opportunities, challenging activities to improve performance, demonstrate willingness to challenge accepted methods and standards
  • Process creation and development experience
  • Degree qualified preferred
