Birmingham City Council is one of Europe's leading local authorities and due to expansion they are recruiting an Administrator to join their busy team. This exciting opportunity is based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre which offers excellent public transport links in and out of the city. Career progression is very important to the council which will allow a range of new opportunities for you to progress. This is a short term role on a temporary basis.
Your new role
You will be an all-round support for the Office Manager, PAs / EAs and anyone else that needs assistance. You will perform tasks on a daily basis such as data entry, filing, typing and assisting with presentations. Your responsibilities will also include formatting documents, preparing accounts, phone work where needed and coordination.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in administration as well as intermediate computer skills, a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and a fantastic work ethic. You will be flexible, adaptable, and have a can-do attitude. You must be able to use your own initiative and have the confidence to work independently.
