Senior Strategic Analytics Manager - Resource Planning


£70,000 - £80,000 + car, bonus & benefits

This role is responsible for leading a team of 5 managers in the delivery and implementation of resource modelling / analytics of full time employee data across the bank.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading a team to provide one consistent, agreed and understood view on Resource Planning and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) capacity planning across distribution channels.
- Developing the profile of resource planning and the team amongst senior stakeholders.
- Delivering of coherent, easy to use MI that is suitable for its audience
- Becoming the key point of contact for distribution on FTE planning, working closely with the business to deliver robust and reliable data as required for a variety of purposes.
- Provide balanced and data supported challenge to stakeholders over FTE requirements or requests.
- Leading the team in the co-ordination of resource based MI production and detailed analysis of all other necessary MI produced within Business performance and steering.
- Driving up employee engagement in order to be the best place to work for our people.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Banking environment or matrix structured Business
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Experience working in relevant environment/s with proven analytical, planning and MI delivery experience
- Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. a broad understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting.
- Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Access and SAS is desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
