Located within the desirable South Birmingham are this Secondary School are looking to appoint a Chemistry Specialist Science Teacher to a full time position that will see them teaching all sciences to KS3 and their chosen subject of Chemistry to KS4 pupils. The position is offered on a full time, 5 days a week basis and is to replace a Teacher who will be leaving the school at the October half term due to a relocation and as such they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible to affect a smooth transition. Initially the post is offered for the duration of this academic year, though should the candidate impress there will be the option of becoming a permanent member of staff at the end of this academic year!
The School has a good reputation locally and is situated in a comparatively affluent area of Birmingham. The school has lower than average numbers of EAL pupils and those with statements of special needs compared to the LEA average.
