Internal Development Executive

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: up to £30,000, plus benefits

If so, NJR Recruitment are delighted to once again be assisting one of the largest independent Insurance Brokers who now, due to their ever expanding growth, have an excellent opportunity for a Internal Development Executive to join their team in the Stoke-on-Trent area!

This is a truly exciting opportunity for a high calibre internal sales candidate now looking to make a move to improve their career prospects within a professional services sector.

Unlike some of their competitors within the sector, my client has a continued focus on innovation, bespoke product development and a customer centric approach.

The main purpose of your role will be to target large, Corporate clients speaking to senior level decision makers and will be fully qualifying leads to ensure all appointments generated are relevant and have a genuine interest in considering changing providers; whilst selling in to market and using your sales skills and commercial insurance knowledge to strike rapport with prospective clients, allowing you to conduct thorough fact-finds in order to deliver outstanding solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting (inbound and outbound), providing quotations and ultimately winning commercial insurance clients.
  • Plan, prospect, select and sell Mid Corporate Commercial General insurance products
  • Develop and manage your own pipeline of business that is sufficient to achieve targets
  • Identify, cross sell leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services
  • Build effective relationships with agencies that will be responsible for servicing the Commercial business you win.
  • Work closely with Sales Development Consultants to understand the risk appetite and prospecting opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise on products and policies.
