In your new role you will be working on a full-time basis as a Support Worker covering days, waking nights and working with adults who have learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker you will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with the clients on a day to day basis to promote their independence. You will need to be confident in working with adults and have a genuine desire to support the work of the team.

Your day to day duties will include:

*Working on a rota basis, supporting service users with Learning Disabilities and autisum
*Providing person-centred care and support to male and female service users
*Writing reports and carrying out observations
*Manual handling and supporting with personal care and other daily duties

If you are an experienced care worker / care assistant / support worker and a driver with access to your own vehicle, with a compassionate nature we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

*MUST have an NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care OR 6 months experience
*MUST be happy to provide personal care
*MUST be flexible and able to work a shift pattern
*MUST have annually refreshed mandatory training certificates (manual handling, safeguarding etc)
*MUST hold a DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
*Have a good level of English (written & verbal)

If you have a DBS that is registered with the online update service, we can offer you work more quickly. You must be able to provide 5 years' references and either have all mandatory training in date, or be prepared to complete this prior to starting your assignment.
