The right Candidate:

Attention to detail will be critical. You will be proactive in your daily tasks, advise on new hire enquiries, chasing up hire data, allocation and location of plant equipment, run the process from a hire system (full training will be given) and provide daily and weekly reporting to the MD.

Candidates have ideally worked within the plant hire industry in a similar role, or have previous experience in the hiring of all construction related machinery to sites and customers. You will have strong customer care skills, good time management and excellent organisational skills.

The Tasks:

Plant Hire enquiries - email and telephone
Providing accurate plant information and technical advice where required
Raise quotations on company system, follow up to ensure hire enquiries convert into confirmed orders
Liaising with Operatives and Transport office when necessary to advise/check on availability.
Completion of hire agreements through to invoice, deal effectively with all related paperwork.
Resolve customer queries relating to hires.
Build and maintain good working relationships with customers.
Confirm plant availability and plant transfers, adjust on the system accordingly.
