A new Graduate Sales Trainee role with this entrepreneurial technology and online services business, based in the Jewellery Quarter in the centre of Birmingham. They are looking for the next major driver of their business, who will start in an Internal Sales Executive role, with a view to progressing quickly upwards.

They are not your standard business. They don’t really care about the usual rules. They don’t care about whether you are wearing the right tie or the right height of heels. They even have their own Bar. What they care about is your potential and how you and they can get the most from it.


Their last Internal Sales Executive was promoted to a Field Sales Executive role, their predecessor was also promoted - you get the picture, internal development is important to them.

You will be communicating and selling to customers and providing them with products and services that will help them deliver their Data Management based work. Initially you will be assisting the team with Appointment Setting, Account Managing existing customers, and also bringing in new customers. Their solutions are very technology led so you will need to be able to get into it, even if you are not yet there.


It doesn’t matter where you come from, or if you got there through an unconventional route - if you are good and motivated, they want you and will train you.

However they have noticed that people with degrees have found it easier to get going, so if you don’t have a degree you will need to be able to show the same level of analytical skills.


You must:

  • Have fantastic communication skills
  • Be an intuitive team player
  • Be really driven to make something of yourself
  • Be terrified of being average

You will find it easier if:

  • You have a degree
  • You’ve had some experience in the workplace outside of education
  • You have an interest in technology
