Head of Operations - Training Provider

£40k - £45k Permanent Full Time

SouthWest based ideally

Our Proud Welsh award winning Skills provider are looking for an Impressive Operations Manager / Head of Operations / Operations Director within the training/apprenticeships sector to set up and spearhead our clients expansion in to England with some clients in England already on board. The areas my client will be initially focusing on is in Health and Social Care, Childcare, Teaching Assistants, Management, Customer Service and Administration apprenticeships. They are extremely proud of the reputation they have developed for delivering high quality learning experiences that help improve individuals’ lives and help organisations become more efficient, productive and profitable. You will be an experienced, well connected and respected operations professional with extensive working knowledge and a proven track record of the work-based learning and FE sector including English Funding Systems. Stakeholder, prime and sub contractor engagement with the know-how in setting up a brand new division.

The main purpose of this role is to lead the way "Across the Bridge" in to England directing the CEO and the senior management team on strategic business ideas that will lead to operational and growth targets being achieved.

We are looking for you to be;

Experienced in setting up a new provision for a training provider

Experienced negotiator with Prime contractors on securing sub-contracts

Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of current ESFA funding rules

To have EPA Centre setup experience

Experienced with preparing Tender completions, business planning and the ability to lead the English business from the front with a dynamic, "roll your sleeves up" attitude recruiting the successful team you need around you. Reporting Operational KPI's and supporting the CEO with the development and execution of new ideas and initiatives. Health and Safety, Contract and quality compliance experience with the ability to provide timely information to the CEO.
