Signage and Fleet Graphic Sales Executive- Midlands Based

Our client, one of the UK’s best established and most successful large format print and signage company has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Signage Sales Executive to join their team.

Our client is seeking a Signage Sales Executive with experience in selling signage to commercial fleets. I.e- HGVs, Van livery etc

They require somebody who is ambitious and capable of achieving and exceeding targets as well as a strong communicator and team player. You will be mostly managing their existing accounts but will also be responsible for identifying and sourcing new business opportunities.

You must have experience of working within the Fleet or Graphics industry.

Role is based in the Midlands.

Key accountabilities:

New Business:

• Work with Marketing to research, develop and close new business opportunities within the agreed strategy.
• Gather market and competition data to help us strengthen our market position.
• Maintain a new business pipeline that will deliver both revenue and gross margin targets.

Account Management:

• Maintain and develop existing client base and build spend through professional dealings with the client, building trust and long-term relationships, always being responsive and easy to deal with.
• Network the industry and its supply chain to increase company brand awareness, driving referrals, enquiries and opportunities.

Working practices:

• Adopt and exercise company values in everything you do.
• Maintain accurate and high-quality records of all activities, contacts and opportunities.
• Maintain a personal business plan that demonstrates how you will meet sales targets.
• Assess commercial risks of each opportunity with the Commercial team before over-committing sales resource.
• Communicate effectively throughout the Commercial and Operations teams to ensure accurate communication of client requirements, managing client expectations on lead times to avoid unnecessary business disruption. Conduct comprehensive project handovers to avoid being drawn into delivery.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Revenue and gross margin against agreed target
• Forecast accuracy
• Customer satisfaction
• Reporting and database management

Ideally you will be in a Signage Sales role, Fleet signage Sales role, Business Development, Account Manager or Sales Executive position.
