Currently we are looking to fill the position of:

UK Warranty Advisor

Based in Midlands: Coventry, CV3 4LF

Main purpose of the role:

The Warranty Advisor will be responsible for coordinating aspects of warranty process in the market alongside the UK Warranty Manager. The core function of the Warranty Advisor is to provide retailers with the required support to ensure customers vehicles are repaired aligning with JLR warranty policies and to make improvements where possible to JLR and Retailer processes. This role will interface with the global warranty team.

Candidate Responsibilities

Retailer Support

- To be the point of contact for all UK retailer enquires.
- Understanding of claims submission and assessment process.
- Understanding of the Prior Approval process & liaison with Retailer Technical Support (RTS)/Prior Approval Help Desk (FRED) when required.
- Advising the retailer network how to correct claims which has been returned
- Pointing retailers to dedicated processes for issues such as incorrect sales date

Policy in Market

- Policy implementation, training and adherence
- Retailer process support
- Reviewing the UK Market Reports with the UK Warranty Manager to address any non-compliance.

Parts Returns

- Supporting the Parts Priority Return (PRR) process.

UK Warranty Administration

- Supporting the UK Warranty Manager where possible with ongoing projects.

Candidate Specification

- Process orientated with a real eye for detail
- Experience of retailer warranty process
- Results oriented with a determination to make things happen
- Good understanding of the Motor Vehicle Retailer Repair Operations processes
- Good administrative skills
- Good understanding of JLR warranty policy and JLR systems (Desirable)
- Whole vehicle technical knowledge (Desirable)
- Motivated and energetic
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and working instructions

Reporting to

- UK Warranty Manager

Working hours

- 40 Hours Per Week - Local hours apply
