A renowned Property Consultancy are seeking a Facilities Assistant to deliver excellent support and to ensure the smooth running of all services. Based in the Birmingham office, you will be responsible for reinforcing the professionalism of the firm and ensuring every task is completed with efficiency and accuracy.

This role will primarily involve:

  • Supporting duties within the post room such as sorting through mail and distributing it throughout the office

  • Responding to queries within a timely manner

  • Booking deliveries and ensuring they are collected

  • Maintaining the office area and ordering stationary

  • Solving travel queries and coordinating the relevant documentation

  • Assisting with office moves

  • Liaise with other departments in the implementation of projects

  • Support colleagues, customers and clients

  • General assistance when required

The ideal candidate will take ownership with any given task, will use their own initiative and remain polite and professional at all times. The following skills and attributes are desirable:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • A hands-on and proactive approach

  • A flexible and positive demeanour

  • Previous facilities/post room exposure would be preferable but not essential

This is a temporary role on an on-going basis. You must be immediately available.
