1st Line Software Support

Solihull town centre

£16,000 - £18,000


A fantastic opportunity is available for someone looking to start their career within the technology industry.

The organisation are suppliers of their own specialist software and have a well established reputation within their industry.

As first line support you will:

  • Be first point of contact for any incoming enquiries
  • Confidently resolve any 1st line issues
  • Gather information from the customer and escalate the request on to the application team
  • Priorities work load, ensuring the most urgent requests are dealt with first

What’s needed?

  • An analytical mindset
  • Ability to accurately log information whilst receiving information over the telephone
  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • Good Microsoft skills; Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Problem Solver


  • ITIL Foundation
  • IT Related degree
  • Experience within a service desk position
