SF Group are recruiting a Compliance Auditor for our Birmingham based Public Sector client. This role will see you take a leading role in the Compliance team to ensure that the overall Compliance programme is delivered to a high quality standard.
This will be a wide ranging role with focus on; the development and reviewing of compliance policies and procedures; co-ordination of compliance work and the overall development of the departmental business plan. Via hands on work, and effective delegation, you will help deliver a thorough review of assurance provision, internal audit and operational development. There will be a substantial focus on managing the external relationship with a large regulated business so excellent communication skills are a must.
The successful candidate will proven experience of operating in an audit/compliance position where you have contributed to the delivery of an internal audit, external audit or regulatory project through the management of teams and stakeholder liaison. You will have a practical understanding of Governance, Risk and Controls frameworks, ideally in the public or regulated sectors, and you will be a qualified Internal Auditor or Accountant.
