Salary: GBP29,000 basic + overtime/on call uplift + use of company van

25 days annual leave + bank holiday

ATA are delighted to be working as an exclusive partner with a leading engineering contractor to recruit an electrical maintenance technician for an exclusive 7-year maintenance framework.

Operating as a team of two, you will be responsible for undertaking planned, serviced, reactive and maintenance works including emergency response on a variety of assets on behalf of the Canal & River Trust. This will be a mobile position covering various sites and assets, working on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, telemetry, instrumentation, control and automation systems for all of the Canal & River Trusts assets, varying from lock gates, swing bridges and pumping stations etc.

Role:

Each team will work independently with support from wider management with work scheduled in and instructed through a software programmed into a tablet. You will primarily be working within the Gloucester and Worcester area with some ad hoc travel required to other regions. Work is programmed in to be conducted weekdays (Monday- Friday) however you will be required to partake in an on-call rota system for 1/3 weeks for emergency response work.

Role Requirements:

Electrical:
You must hold the following electrical qualifications to be considered for this role:
C&G (or equivalent) Electrical Engineering, C&G 2391-10 "Level 3 in Electrical Installations", C&G 2382-10 "17th Edition BS7671", Mechanical & Hydraulic System Familiarisation.

You must also have experience in maintenance, fault find and repair of industrial electrical equipment, ideally with experience with control panels and PLCs.
