HR/Global Mobility Assistant (Temporary)
Birmingham based professional services client are looking to recruit an HR/International Mobility Advisor for an immediate start for an ongoing temporary position. This is an ideal caree opportunity for anyone wishing to proress their career specifically in global mobility
The objective of this role is the day to day management of the smooth relocation of secondees (Internationally and domestically) ensuring compliance with relevant policy.
You will act as a point of liaison with key stakeholders to brief them on relevant secondment policy and entitlements. You will support key stakeholders with preparation of the business case and create costings. You will provide overall implications of the move, costs, general guidance to inform relevant approvals.
You will manage the day to day relationship with external providers of relocation services (Eg immigration & relocation provider) and take the lead at meetings and supporting the compensation and benefits manager. You will manage relationships with internal departments involved in the move also. There will be extensive administration in the role so candidates must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail and working with policies and procedures.
You will project manage moves and escalate any policy exceptions to the compensation and benefits manager. You will provide relevant and regular reports and support the compensation and benefits manager in maintain international policies.
Applicants will have previous HR related experience with an interest in this area coupled with supporting work experience. This would include an understanding of the complexities of moving employees overseas, immigration, tax issuees etc.
