Purchase to Pay Manager
Purchase to Pay (P2P) expert required for Midlands based shared service centre.

YOUR NEW ROLE
Your new role as a Purchase to Pay Manager will involve managing all allocated resources effectively and efficiently delivering a world class standard of service for their purchase to pay cycle. This covers supplier set-up, invoice verification and accounts payable for all areas of the business.
As the Purchase to Pay Manager you will lead the end to end purchase team (4 direct and 15 indirect reports) for pay processes, delivering all services within the allocated budget and resource allocation. You will develop and deliver effective customer focused processes for accounts payable and invoice matching for all goods not for resale, including colleague/ executive expenses.
Your main responsibilities will include defining, implementing and continuously reviewing processes, agreeing quarterly performance improvement targets and implementing improvements within the team for the management and processing of:
- All transactions input to the invoice matching system ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time and goods returned monies due are recovered
- Processing of period and year end accruals policy for all business areas
- Accrual inputs and commination protocols from business areas
- Payment processing for all goods not for resale suppliers
- Monitoring, checking and maintaining all inbound accounts payable/ invoice documents
- Undertaking periodic audits and checks on supplier accounts and expense reports
The culture of the company is driven by continuous improvement and you will be responsible for ensuring all allocated queries to the department are resolved within their SLA's, as well as supporting the delivery of the IS strategy objectives and finally implementing processes to ensure that the service delivery exceeds expectations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
To succeed in your role you will need experience in Purchase to Pay accounting processes and of working within a shared service centre environment. You will have experience of delivering continuous improvement initiatives and of leading a team in a changing environment.
