Angard Staffing is the dedicated provider of Customer Service Advisors to Royal Mail's Customer Service Centres across the UK. Due to an increase in workload volumes we are seeking additional candidates at our key sites at this stage.

The Role

- Handling of customer queries & complaints in a call centre environment

- Advising customers on the status of tracked mail and the delivery status of in-progress mail and parcel items

- Providing general advice and guidance to customers and/or forwarding queries you are unable to support to the correct member of staff

- Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are maintained and a first class customer experience is provided to Royal Mail's customers

The Person

- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

- Previous Customer Service experience either directly in a Call Centre/Administrative environment or in a similar customer-focussed role

- Ability to work under pressure and to targets

- Strong keyboard skills and familiarity with basic Microsoft packages including Word and Excel

The Shifts

- You need to be available between 8am-6pm Mon- Sat with one rotation day off in the week

- Flexible start times throughout the week may be required

- You will be engaged on a temporary contract with Angard Staffing running from 23/10/2017

What we need from you

- Availability for a start of 23/10/2017

- Flexibility to work different shift arrangements where necessary

- Availability on Saturdays each week and 4 other mid-week days on all shifts

- Must pass a criminal record check (no cost)

You will be paid an initial wage of GBP8.50 for the first 12 weeks before moving to GBP10.21p/h with separate rates for overtime and Sundays.
