Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a UK Accounts Payables and Receivables Accountant to join them to manage the UK charity and subsidiaries purchase, sales and donor ledgers.

In the role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, timesheets, recharges and payments while ensuring policy compliance and best practice. Making sure all documents and processes are authorised and that staff credit cards are controlled, you will review payment runs, maintain ledgers and ensure a clean and timely month end close, including accruals, prepayments and integrity checks. There will be a need to continually review processes to ensure that an efficient and cost-effective ledger service is provided.

Qualified to MAAT or with equivalent experience, you will have broad experience in a financial management role, ideally gained in the INGO sector. With strong interpersonal skills along with supervisory experience, you will have strong purchase ledger knowledge, including multicurrency experience, the ability to plan and manage resources and a good knowledge of payroll processing.
