We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to join our regional rail sales team in the West Midlands! But this is no ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?

As a Rail Sales Specialist, you’ll be out and about visiting our customers, wherever they’re busy working, to find out how we can help them. You will proactively grow the profitable sales of Hilti solutions to a defined portfolio of accounts within the rail sector through promoting additional services and value engineered solutions in the UK.
You will work with key decision makers within the rail sector such as Network Rail and their sub-contractor supply chain to secure specifications, technical approvals and recommendations for Hilti products.
Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and it’s a really hands-on job. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, while selling our state-of-the-art software along with all the services and after-care that come with the Hilti name. Far from traditional cold calling, it’s about nurturing relationships with warm and responsive customers, and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.

What you need is:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant sales experience

Strong business acumen

Ability to learn about the rail sector, rail supply chain and customer businesses to develop relevant strategies and to be successful.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment, courage and competitive drive

A thirst to learn and challenge yourself

Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
