Fantastic opportunity for candidates that have risk conduct/compliance experience gained within personal lines consumer delivery channels.

We are working with a leading National Broker requiring an Insurance Conduct/Compliance Risk Analysis to support with the UK retail operation. The role is very much business facing, and offers excellent exposure to senior management throughout the UK offices. Ideally we are looking to place the successful candidate into their Birmingham office to work alongside colleagues but there is flexibility to work from another regional office if required.

You will support the UK Conduct Risk Business Manager in ensuring the delivery of Conduct Risk requirements as defined by FCA and business policy. To support the assessment of conduct risks for the UK personal lines retail offices and the internal/external reporting to ensure issues are being addressed with appropriate actions. Ensuring policies, principle statements & controls suitably demonstrate management of Conduct risks. To minimise future regulatory exposure in relation to retail conduct, partnering & supporting colleagues across the UK to adhere to the appropriate regulation & policy. To ensure appropriate monitoring, reporting, disclosures and remedial actions are completed.

You must have experience of the insurance sector, definitely within personal lines and consumer arrangements, operational and/or compliance with a great understanding of regularly requirements within FCA. In addition excellent written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail with the ability to recognise potential issues with processes and controls.
Ability to challenge and influence others and to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the business to ensure support, participation and input to achieve successful results. Excellent organisation skills, initiative and ability to work to tight deadlines together with being comfortable working with limited supervision. As you are required to travel with the position is is necessary to have a FCDL.
