A leading mid-tier Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm who are looking to recruit an experienced audit manager for their Birmingham City Centre office.
Serving a wide range of clients, they can offer a varied audit & general practice portfolio which will reflect both your current experience and also future ambition.
Reporting directly to the Partners you will be managing a portfolio with a clear option as to whether you wish to vary or specialise and a dynamic, well trained Audit team to delegate tasks to appropriately.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Managing and overseeing audit assignments, delegating tasks appropriately and getting involved in client interaction as key point of contact
On-going liaison with clients throughout the year and to practice the principles of excellent client service at all times. Opportunities to develop further business and cross-sell where appropriate
Managing portfolio including all the billings and fees generated with opportunities to develop further business
An ability to quickly grasp and follow the firm's procedures and relevant expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP is essential.
Planning assignments, reviewing work and delegating responsibility to further team.
Supervising and developing staff.
ACA/ACCA qualified with audit experience across a range of corporate clients & not for profit entities alongside exposure to listed clients.
