They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team at their Headquarters near Stoke on Trent, looking after a variety of major automotive OEMs as new projects arise.
The main aims of the role are as follows:
Utilising the experience of a multi-functional team to ensure the projects are delivered on time and to correct quality standards.
Interfacing with the customer to ensure project activities meet with and are in accordance with the criteria.
Presenting monthly project performance via reviews, reports and presentations.
Seeking out and resolving project issues in an efficient and effective manner to control and minimise risk.
Managing/developing the team & processes.
Ensuring a consistent and professional level of customer service through a proactive, problem solving approach
Educated to HNC/degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally gained in an automotive related environment
Excellent project management skills with the ability to demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills
Good people skills and able to negotiate in a professional manner
Self starter with willingness to take the initiative and be proactive rather than reactive
Prepared to travel to customer sites both within the UK and overseas
Salary is GBP35k+ with additonal bonus and benefits
