Job Title - Project Administrator

Job Location - Coventry, West Midlands

Job Role:

  • To co-ordinate the induction, training and administrative actions required to bring on new intakes of field operatives every month.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure smooth transition of new talent into the organisations after the training period of six weeks
  • Liaise with outside training suppliers to ensure programmes and schedules are synchronised
  • Escalate issues to Senior managers and ensure the program is not interrupted by admin issues
  • Timely updating of skills and competency databases
  • Organising training schedules and dates including booking hotels and travel
  • Ordering field equipment, issuing and keeping accurate records
  • Ensuring systems are updated
  • Taking control of the stores area and ensuring all equipment is accounted for and issued on time
  • Liaise with vendors for accommodation requests
  • Training providers to arrange monthly training schedules
  • Raise purchase order requests and process GR's time
  • Order clothing for field operatives and then issue said clothing

Experience:

  • Prior experience from a similar role
  • Knowledge of PC based online systems for ordering equipment, authorisations, updating skills, ordering access etc
  • Good communication skills (happy to liaise with managers and talk to groups of new young engineers)
  • Good PC skills, excel, PPT, Email etc
  • Must be willing to travel to Redditch
