If so, this could be the role for you. Monarch Education SEN Team are looking to recruit an experienced KS1 Teacher and KS2 Teacher to work on a one to one basis with permanently excluded children who have disengaged from a mainstream setting. We currently work in partnership with the LA & children services to enable these Children to progress and develop.

About the Role:

*Flexible working hours, full time and part time available.
*Typical session - up to 3 hours
*Providing tuition to KS1 & KS2 pupils outside classroom setting.
*You will be teaching lessons in risk assessed locations such as libraries, children centre and contact centres.
*Differentiation is key to this role; you must have the ability and creativity to adapt lesson plans to the individual needs of the pupil.

About you:

*Compassionate & empathetic approach.
*You will need to adjust your teaching styles to meet the needs of each child as the children you will be working with may have challenging home lives or behavioural difficulties.
*Excellent behaviour management skills.
*You will be understanding, resilient, dedicated and passionate about working with children.
*Punctual & reliable (time keeping is essential)
*Excellent communication and reporting skills.
*You will need to regularly deliver accurate progress reports, reflecting pupil's academic development.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

*QTS in the UK.
*Have a good knowledge of all core primary subjects and curriculum.
*A right to work in the UK (a valid visa)
*Two child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
