Our client based in Burntwood is looking for an experienced accounts clerk/book-keeper to join their small team on a permanent basis.

Duties include:

  • Submitting payroll reports
  • Entering payroll journals
  • Using Sage 50 software
  • Dealing with queries
  • Ensuring statutory payments are correctly set up, recorded and processed
  • Preparing and submitting payment summaries
  • Making sure pension information is set up
  • Ensuring correct pension contributions are calculated
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Monthly/Quarterly book-keeping
  • Entering sales and purchase invoices
  • General administration
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post
  • Answering the telephone
  • Completing all aspects of accounts
  • Problem solving

  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage Software

Working Hours:

Full Time. 9am - 5pm with 30 minute lunch break.

Salary:

GBP18k -GBP22k Per annum
