An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Change Analyst for a leading, nationwide insurance company based in Stratford upon Avon. You will be joining a function that is rapidly expanding, so this role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to really put their stamp on the function.

The Role:

You will have the responsibility of establishing, developing and providing insight and expertise for portfolio, programme and project management services so that business requirements are met. You will be required to drive continuous improvement of practices and tools which support change to ensure best practice is followed across Group Change and to ensure ongoing improvement to the continuing growth and evolution.

Key Duties and Responsibilities;

* To lead, establish, develop and provide insight and expertise for change management services so that business decisions are effectively supported, business requirements are met and the company portfolio is protected against risk.
* Deliver continuous improvement of practices and tools which support change. Develop, communicate and plan for impending policy changes or interdependencies which may impact service delivery, highlighting areas of concern with appropriate solutions.
* Develop, provide guidance and consultancy on and ensure adherence to the change framework, standards and practices followed by portfolio, programmes and projects.
* Maintain, report and analyse against key performance indicators within the change portfolio. Using this analysis to assist in delivering improvements across the change delivery function.
* Perform and oversee complex change management checks in collaboration with projects and programmes. Report and agree actions, track and follow up remedies with appropriate stakeholders.
* Establish, agree and own the portfolio reporting timetable providing a single source of regular portfolio status reporting to the business
* Capture, monitor and provide insight on Change Portfolio resource allocation against forecast.
* Maintain and assess standard portfolio risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and dependencies (RAIDD) for the Change Portfolio where appropriate highlight risks and identify solutions.
* Mentor, coach and train others to ensure that knowledge and skills increase.
* Deliver short term, one off projects and activities as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will;

* Have experience of working in a Portfolio Management (PMO)/Change Management Office
* Have practical applied experience of project management methodology and competent use of project planning tools
* Show proven experience in project delivery lifecycle
* Have significant experience of analytical work
* Have intermediate PC-based skills (MS Office) including Visio

* Have P30 (P3O (Portfolio, Programme and Projects Offices) is essential (or willingness to work towards)

PRINCE2 or equivalent is desirable
