Churchill Howard are recruiting for a Strategic Change Finance Manager for a high profile business near Wolverhampton. The role will provide commercial finance business partnering to support strategic change projects within the distribution and supply chain function. The nature of projects will change over time so this role requires someone with flexibility to support as priorities change.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing input to the long term business planning process, developing models which support operational plans
  • Working with Distribution operations and finance teams to ensure change priorities are communicated effectively across the business and translate into operational plans
  • Be a business partner to the Distribution and Supply Chain Director, giving insights which ensure progress against strategic drivers
  • Lead on the development of improved reporting and analysis models for the Distribution and Supply Chain
  • Look for new opportunities to improve the supply chain and deliver cost savings

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience and successful delivery in logistics/distribution finance role
  • Some experience of project managing significant distribution +/or supply chain change projects
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Good knowledge of financial performance management and analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
