RGIS is a global organisation and the market leaders in inventory solutions. We provide inventory and stock taking services to a wide range of retail customers. We deal with some of the largest names on the high street and we are looking to recruit motivated, positive managers to join our team.

We have two Audit Manager vacancies to manage the audit function and lead our teams to success. Successful applicants should have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Person Specification

Essential

  • Previous experience in people management including dealing with poor performance issues, appraisals and work scheduling
  • Experience of managing organisational policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders including senior managers
  • Experience in managing customer relationships at an operational level
  • Experience in managing teams
  • An excellent communicator with stakeholders of all levels
  • A flexible approach to the work environment including the ability to work a variety of shifts, locations and stay away from home
  • Must hold a valid full driving licence
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages to an intermediate level
  • Must be able to relocate to any other region should the business require it

Desirable

  • Experience of working within a multi-site operation
  • Knowledge of P&L statements and good working knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Evidence of your ability to grasp new concepts, processes and programmes which will aid increased revenue

Key Accountabilities and Duties

  • Comply with company procedures and take accountability for the efficient operation within several business accounts to ensure an efficient flow to maximize productivity and customer service
  • To develop and manage business accounts to boost sales to existing and new customers

  • To lead and motivate teams to achieve customer satisfaction, accuracy and productivity targets

  • To monitor and chase payments from the customer to ensure a good level of cashflow for the business

  • To liaise with the finance and commercial department when negotiating payment terms with the customer

  • To deliver service excellence and to adapt to the changing needs of customers whilst achieving company objectives

  • To ensure the successful delivery of service during all customer related events and new verticals

  • To engage with key stakeholders before, during and after a count to ensure service excellence is achieved and maintained

  • To conduct and supervise general audit/accounting and administrative work

  • To manage the count process from start to finish and deal with any operational issues immediately and effectively
