This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Auditor to join our passionate and knowledgeable Audit team. This critical role will see you working with various departments with our business, to support them with audit assignments and adding value to their business through the work that you do.
The team manages the audit process for the whole of our UK Company, consisting of 30+ UK businesses and 17,000 employees. We are hard-working, focused and passionate about what we do; this grouped with the wider global auditing team means that you will have significant opportunities to develop yourself and become part of something bigger.
What will I be doing in the role?
In the role as Auditor you will;
Work with various businesses and departments on detailed assignments, often lasting around 4 weeks.
Use innovative and market leading technology for quality data analysis and interpretation (Qlik and Tableau).
Working hard to not only complete the assigned audit, but to continually look for opportunities to add value to the business through process improvements.
Use Saint-Gobain’s structured and formalised methodology that works well to assist you in your role.
Liaise with stakeholders at all different levels, getting to know their business quickly in order to offer the best service.

For the Auditor role specifically it is important that you have:
Experience as an Auditor, completing audits of various sizes for multiple clients or internal departments.
The ability to adapt quickly – in the UK alone we have 34 businesses and c.170,000 employees, you will need to serve stakeholders in various areas and get to know their business quickly.
Excellent and adaptable communication skills – you should be able to communicate with both senior and junior colleagues in both blue and white collar environments.
Experience working with big data, to analyse and interpret effectively – this is a crucial element of the role.
A process driven mind set – with the ability to identify areas for improvement
A sound financial understanding
You will also have access to a 2 week annual training session, as well as monthly training opportunities.
