Deputy Home Care Manager

As Deputy Home Care Manager you will contribute to the efficient running of the company through being a member of the Care Management Team. You will also provide a reliable and professional care service and support service to clients / customers to help maintain their independence in their own homes. Experience as a trainer would be advantageous.

Duties

  • Providing the highest standards of care at all times.
  • Conducting risk assessments, producing care plans and assisting with the recruitment activity.
  • Inducting, training, supervising and supporting all carers.
  • Ensuring the production, timely distribution and understanding of rotas.
  • Motivating and developing all care staff and in particular
  • Maintaining all carer files,
  • Entering all information onto computer
  • Conducting client / service user reviews
  • Undertaking any other duties that might reasonably be required.
  • Participate in the on call and out of hours service, covering calls as and when necessary.
  • To undertake duties including weekends as per the rota and to respond appropriately to any calls received.
  • To carry out care visits to customers where necessary.
  • Taking enquiries from new and potential customers and keeping records of such enquiries and the outcome.
