Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 CPN to fill a part time role based in Walsall. The position will be working 3 days per week and is initially for 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices and have previously worked in the community.

Requirements of the role:

All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration.

The post holder will be part of a team of clinicians; working within a team of other primary care mental health nurses; supported by the Service Manager, Senior Clinical Lead/CBT therapist and Adult Primary Psychologist. The team responsibility is to provide, develop and improve services for people with common mental health problems in primary care. Post holders will have high level of autonomy within their role in a specific primary care setting, developing and managing all aspects of their service according to local need and within the parameters of the Primary Mental Health & Talking Therapies Service operational policy.

Team members will actively participate in and support the development of new ways of working. Members will also be involved in regular service evaluation, audit and initiatives.

Each member of the team takes on a service development lead role; the post holder will be expected to assist/contribute to this in line with their role on behalf of the Primary Mental Health & Talking Therapies Service.

The starting pay rate for this locum role is £22 per hour (Umbrella Rate)
