Children's Residential Support Worker
Children's Residential Care Home, Cannock based, £18.600 negotiable salary
Your new company
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in a well established LD and EBD Children's Residential Care Home based in Cannock. They currently have three residential sites and are opening a new home within the next 12 months. Due to expansion of the company, a Residential Support Worker is required for the development and structure of the care home.
Your new role
You will be working as part of a well structured team of support workers and senior managers at this Children's residential care home ensuring that the needs of the children are met to high standards. You will be required to report to the Senior Support Worker, providing updates on the children and their progression, assisting the children with food intake and promoting independence. You will be maintaining relationships with the children and their family members to progress their future development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally hold a LV3 NVQ in Children, Young People & The Workplace but must have at least two consecutive years' experience, working with children in the residential care sector. Your previous experience will lead to your success and potential opportunity to grow and progress your career within the company.
