My client is currently recruiting for a Framework Designer to join their site in Coventry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating working groups with multiple stakeholders and design competency frameworks that are ratified by industry and clearly define the responsibilities, knowledge, skills and behaviour required across multiple emerging and future roles within the digital construction industry.

The candidate will then facilitate the frameworks progressing into Apprenticeship standards and active Apprenticeship programmes.

Responsibilities:
* Liaising with key industry partners, such as the Building Research Establishment, Construction Industry Training Board and Construction Leadership Council, to drive collaboration and approval
* Liaising with major construction contractors and members to drive collaboration and approval
* Facilitating skills workshops with all stakeholders and Research Engineers to identify current and future skills gaps
* Articulating the output of workshops into competency frameworks that clearly define the current and future requirements of existing and new roles within the industry
* Project management of the assigned framework projects

Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in designing competency framework and instructional design
* Ability to work with stakeholders to develop robust design briefs
* Ability to challenge the status quo and existing standards and frameworks
* Experience with MS Office
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
* A robust understanding of stakeholder engagement
* A demonstrable commitment to team performance
* A demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines in complex, multi-stakeholder environment
* Highly motivated and resilient

Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous experience working in the engineering, manufacturing or construction sector
* Understanding of occupational standards, apprentice standards and units
* Understanding of educational levels, apprenticeships and apprentice levy
* Copy editing experience

On offer is a salary between £50k and £55k for the right person
