Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their Group Facilities Team based at their large City Centre Office in Coventry. The successful candidate will be working as part of a larger team delivering a professional and efficient service across all office locations in the city and will be the Facilities presence responsible for running this flagship building.
Their role as a Facilities team is the day to day running of our buildings, Maintenance and managing contractors, ensuring at all times that the staff working from the offices have the best possible environment to work in. The nature of the role is very varied and quick thinking and finding solutions is a large part of the job.
Being the main point of contact means that you will be responsible for ensuring the Health and Safety of their internal customers and contractors at all times. Health and safety qualifications or experience would be a benefit in this role. You will also be self motivated, able to manage your own workload with little input from management.
You will be practiced at using all PC packages such as Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel. The ideal candidate should have experience of dealing with people at all levels of the business as this will be critical for this role. Relationships with key stakeholders within the building are essential to the smooth running of their Facilities Services.
Although the post will be based at in central Coventry, there may be times when cover for other sites will be required, due to this, being able to commute between locations would be advantageous.
