Our client has an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join the team based in Pembridge, Herefordshire. You will be on a temporary contract for an initial 3 month period with a highly competitive salary of GBP8.96 per hour plus shift allowance.

Our client is a global market leader in the manufacture and supply of premium high performance rigid insulation within the building services sector. They are now looking to recruit a General Operative on the Optim R line working shifts, 39 hours per week on a temporary contract for an initial 3 month period.

As their General Operative you will learn and be competent on as many pieces of different equipment as at all possible thus aiding your team in becoming multi skilled. Your role will also ensure that all production processes are operated to the highest levels at all times ensuring that all targets and objectives are met, or even surpassed, taking into account that you maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities as their General Operative will include meeting production requirements in terms of quality, quantity, cost, safety and time, meeting operational standards, reducing waste and down time and the development and improvement of all production processes.

Do you have previous experience working in a factory/manufacturing process environment? Do you have practical skills and experience of working as part of a team? If so and you have experience of operating machinery using computerised touch screen panels, of using IT system SAP, have knowledge of lean manufacturing, autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement, an awareness and understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and are COSHH trained, our client look forward to hearing from you.
