Staff Nurse - Ward RGN - Registered Nurse
My client is a leading healthcare provider across the UK, who are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse with one of their nursing homes in Droitwich
They provide care in registered care homes, hospitals, supported living arrangements, retirement schemes and domiciliary care settings. They provide a spectrum of services from comprehensive care packages through to low level support in the community for older people and adults with physical, sensory or mental health support needs.
We're looking for a highly skilled Registered Ward Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. If you became a nurse to really care for people and help them through difficult times, you'll find this role both motivating and rewarding.
1.To assist the Home's Manager and Deputy Manager in providing a home for residents which promotes a caring environment through high standards of professional practice.
2.To meet the personal care needs of residents in the home in a way in which promotes, dignity, privacy, safety and independence.
3.To ensure the effective use of resources in providing this care.
4.To lead and direct the support staff team reporting to you to achieve these goals.
Delivery of Care to Residents
1.To direct the staff team reporting to you on each shift to deliver quality care to all residents and to appraise and supervise assigned staff.
2.To ensure that all of the resources available for the delivery of care are used effectively, and that wastage does not occur.
3.To ensure that each resident has an up to date Care Plan with regular evaluations and with aims to provide an appropriate quality of life for that individual.
4.To ensure that the physical, social, psychological and emotional needs of residents are recognised, assessed and met.
5.To deliver, and to ensure that junior staff deliver, the planned care; and to participate in the evaluation of the care of residents
