We are currently looking for a CAE Analyst to work for a Major Automotive Organisation based in Warwickshire

Job Title: CAE Analyst
Experience: Ls Dyna and automotive crash experience
Location: Warwickshire
Rate: From GBP24.00 to GBP26.58 per Hour Ltd Co.
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

The Role:
*Lead the integration of common FEA models to facilitate upfront systems engineering
*Support critical projects and workstreams.
*This requires the extensive use of FEA tools and techniques to capture the complex phenomena.
*Close the capability gaps between functional CoC's and attributes on current systemic issues, and on forward model architectures for failure mode avoidance.
*Perform correlation of analysis activity against physical rig and vehicle measurements for methods validation and deployment.
*Deploy new model capability to support Virtual Hub method development processes in a multi-disciplinary group.
*Interface closely with Body, Chassis and Powertrain engineering CoC's and core component areas

Skills Required:
1)Ls Dyna and automotive crash experience
2)Abaqus experience, possibly with exposure to 3D
3)Experience Linear/NVH analysis codes such as Optistruct or Nastran equivalent experience

Experience Required:
*Strong technical knowledge and CAE experience in finite element analysis tools and techniques
*Experience in delivering engineering design projects and developing new CAE methods, preferably within the car industry
*Motivated self-starter capable of leading cross functional CAE project teams and other functional teams
*Experience of solving complex technical issues using a structured approach with the ability to identify areas for improvement
*Be results driven and meet commitments
*Good communication and relationship building skills

Experience Preferred:
*Experience in MBS techniques, and integration with FEA tools
*Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the role of CAE in company product creation development processes or in other automotive environments
*Focused on seeking out improvements to business processes to support customer service & business financial objectives.
