Curriculum Leader Mechanical Engineering
Staffordshire
GBP32,000- GBP35,500

Benefits: Teachers Pension, College Holidays

My client, a well-established college in Staffordshire, are seeking a Curriculum Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis for Mechanical Engineering- to be based in their new Engineering campus/ workshop.

The role will be 2.5 days a week teaching Mechanical Engineering (including CNC machining, programming, milling), and co-ordinating/ organising/ managing the Engineering staff and courses - the role will be responsible for leading level 2 - level 4, including BTEC and HNC courses. It will also include overseeing carpentry courses- although no experience in this is necessary.

They are looking for an experienced engineer who has teaching experience between level 2 and level 4 in Mechanical Engineering, with a teaching qualification and HND or above in engineering. Ideally the applicant will have practical engineering experience including CNC.
Experience in a curriculum lead/ co-ordinator role would be advantageous or someone with experience hoping to take the next step into management.

They are looking for someone to start ASAP - however would wait for the right person if necessary due to notice periods etc.
If you are looking for PART TIME work- there may be a 2.5 days a week teaching post as well available- teaching CNC (machining, milling, turning, programming) the salary post for this would be (GBP29,000- GBP31,000 - pro rata).

If you would like to know more about the role, to apply or perhaps you are looking for staff of this nature? Then please call Manhay on (Apply online only) to apply or send your cv through to the email address (or look on our website).
