Loss Prevention Supervisor - Hanley - 36.5 hrs
OurLoss Prevention teams are there to ensure effective protection of companyassets, staff and customers by implementing the stores stock loss plan;deterring theft; as well as coaching staff to be vigilant and understand thebenefits of excellent customer service in preventing loss.
Reportingto the Selling Support Manager you will be responsible for the day to dayrunning of the Loss Prevention department, supporting with the recruitment,training and development of the team. The role will involve the review andmaintenance of back of house standards as well as providing an efficientservice to the sales floor to minimise loss to the company whereverpossible
Youwill be a positive and confident individual, who has an organised and flexibleapproach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will havethe skills to coach colleagues, to solve problems and make effective decisions,delegating where appropriate. An understanding of retail and operationalprocedures is essential and you will need to be numerate as well as computerliterate
Therole can involve the opening and closing of the store as well as beingavailable for emergency call outs, therefore flexibility with working hours isvital.
Ideallyyou will also have a sound knowledge of COSHH, HASAW, PACE, data protection andaccounting procedures.
This is a fully flexible role and will require youto work up to 5 out of 7 full days per week for which rotas will be provided 4weeks in advance (including weekends & bank holidays). The days and timesfor each shift may vary depending on the business needs.
