Group Statutory Compliance Surveyor

Basis: Full Time 37 Hours
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday
Type: Temporary for 3 months
Salary: Band F (GBP37,708 - GBP42,706 per annum)
Location: Coventry

Our client is one of the largest and most successful housing groups in the Midlands providing around 30,000 homes with a turnover of GBP140 million per year. They are currently recruiting for a Group Statutory Compliance Surveyor on a temporary basis to provide effective delivery of statutory and legislative compliance including routine servicing and repairs, and to support the statutory compliance team in the delivery of contract management.

The successful candidate will need an understanding of current health and safety legislation relating to property management, and a recognised qualification in a building related subject. You will also need knowledge and understanding of the legislative frameworks applicable to the building and social housing sectors. You will need to provide excellent service whilst acting with integrity and delivering creative solutions.

For this role you will need to be an effective decision maker and have the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work as part of a team and have highly developed communication skills.

As part of the role you will also assist in the procurement of group and local contracts, providing technical guidance and support where needed. You will also be required to monitor budgets and maintain strong administration and record keeping.
