Toolmaker - Night shift
My client is a reputable company who manufacture precision components for the Automotive industry and are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their growing team and can hit the ground running.

Toolmaker - Purpose
To ensure that under the direction and guidance of the Tool Room Manager that all tooling repairs and TPM are carried out in a timely manner to meet production needs.

Toolmaker - Job Requirements:
• Successful candidates must have a previous experience and ideally completed an apprenticeship within a Toolroom environment.
• Knowledge of progression, transfer and single action press tooling is essential.
• A valid forklift truck licence (counterbalance), overhead crane licence and an abrasive wheel’s certificate would be advantageous

Toolmaker - Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
• Maintain preventative maintenance plan for tooling.
• Ensure all repairs are carried out in agreed timescale with no disruption to production
• Work with engineers and co-ordinators to reduce off standards on tooling problems
• Maintain standards of Health and Safety and Environmental requirements
• Carry out repairs on any weld jigs fixtures
• Maintain quality jigs when required
• These duties are not 'limited' or 'fixed' and you may be required to take on additional reasonable responsibilities, as our business needs change

Toolmaker - Information
• Birmingham based
• Nights - hours - Monday to Thursday - 10pm - 6am
Friday - 6pm - 12am
